Bachelor's and Master's degree exams

Students are reminded of the importance of avoiding plagiarism in writing their thesis, which involves copying (even unintentionally) parts of books, essays, theses, articles, or projects from other authors without citing the source. This constitutes the total or partial appropriation of another's work.

Therefore, students are encouraged to carefully check their work and always cite the sources from which texts and images are derived.

In this regard, attention is drawn to the following passage from the Code of Ethics and Conduct of the Politecnico di Milano: "The Politecnico promotes research integrity, condemns plagiarism and violations of intellectual property, and provides training on ethics and integrity in research to all those engaged in research activities."
